yes...........sounds like it.......as most people nowadays don't bother or care and for sure do not apologize............sure he will be more careful

I agree, but since he made the bold statement of overseeing everything, including meds, and not following thru with his “veterinary advisory” due to the vet he picked being in Kentucky and not being able to come due to Covid and he wasn’t licensed in CA, he did this to himself. Besides, any vet there could look at the label to tell him what’s in it……

as a medical profesional, I would not expect it to go systemic, either, but steroids are sneaky that way........sure they were suprised, too. Maybe depends on the base of other ingredients. And the fact that it was so minimal, doesn't mean they would over-look,as the rules say none,. Think political, too. But the winning horse's name lives in infamy, not usually, the trainer........sad for MS, tho he doesn't know the controversy surrounding his win or even care. Guess they have not said he is DQ yet? Pretty severe decision, and not by the Ky Racing commission. Think had it been any other trainer, would not be in question.

Baffert makes enough money at his trade. There should not have been the tiniest mistake in medication. His problem is that he is a huge success. For people who know nothing about horse racing, if they know one trainer's name, it's Bob Baffert. Of course, as everyone has been saying, that makes him a really good target.

not only does he make enough money, but he is less modest than most trainers, tho think he was genuiinely surprised at this MS win. And a trainer should always know about medication for his horse, contents, effects and side-effects. Do not know about horse meds, but many people meds are given off-label, which means "not for intended use" and efffective for other purpose., but sure this was not that intention. Trouble is steroids are fast-acting and often the drug of choice , without wating for another to work, when another would work well for his rash.

Yes, his right. But even though he is doing additional testing to see how it got in his system, I’m not sure that would hold up as that other testing is not routine for runners and if it shows in their regular testing it may not matter how it got there?
Im sure nothing will change Churchill’s mind(s) on their ban since they’re including other positives. I don’t think the KHRC can allow Baffert to run there or in the Derby/Oaks?
