In case anyone missed it, 60 Minutes had the story of Servis, Navarro and the fatalities this summer.they do show the Churchill breakdowns though- Here is the link to video

Oaklawn will be helping HISA in a new program protocol with injections. Oaklawn helped keep racing running in the pandemic and now helping out the horses.

HISA has set up a legal program for eligible people that have been suspended 

HISA will now help Covered Persons who cannot afford an attorney to secure pro bono legal representation if they’re alleged to have violated HISA’s ADMC rules. For more information on this program, including how to apply for assistance, click here:

They’re doing good by reviewing their own protocols and changing/starting new ones. Sometimes you can’t plan for obstacles until they happen.

If I remember correctly there were a lot of injuries/fatalities at Turf Paradise last year: hope things go much better this year.
