Sentimental Sale of Arrogate filly For Tackett at F-T
On the first day of selling, Oct. 24, at the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky October Yearlings Sale, consignor Paul Tackett sent an Arrogate filly through the ring to see her raise the bidding to $350,000, with agent Donato Lanni having the final bid.

This is fascinating. I think if he wins the BC Classic, they will have to retire him to stud because his insurance policy as a runner will be too expensive.

Well, as much as I’d like to see him run more, at 5 you don’t want to push your luck. If he was only 3 I’d say keep racing and not retire like all these other 3 year olds.

True but remember his first race was April if his 3 year old year. Then only ran 2 more times and with the BC will only have 3 races as a 4 year old. Those gaps really make me wonder how sound is he?
