The Lieutenant has a runner at Saratoga today in the 7th, a MSW for 2yr olds, NY bred.  Name:  Lt. Mitchell.  Love it when the breeder is also the owner and that is Perretti.  Trainer is Levine.

Hall of Fame jockey Javier Castellano suffered a dislocated ankle Saturday when his foot struck the inner rail during the running of the third race at Saratoga and will sit out the final two days of the track's meet.

I knew he had an injury of some sort but didn’t realize it was dislocated. Yikes that’s got to hurt.

Thanks for the link. I heard Secret Oath was confirmed for the Cotillion. I don't know about any other fillies or horses for the Pennsylvania Derby yet.

I look forward to attending and getting photos! Very exciting day if only we don't get the hurricane predicted for the area next Saturday (a week from this Saturday).
