N. J. Commission to Meet April 22 on Riding Crop Rule

The New Jersey Racing Commission will conduct a special session April 22 to consider a proposal to end its controversial ban on the use of riding crops during a race.

I remember due to the heat in 2019, the Haskell was delayed until around 8 PM and the time was filled with the hosts filling time with racing chatter. This could happen again due to heat? Concerned for the horses.
