Older Male

Flightline ran 3 times and won 3 times this year all Grade 1’s

Life is Good ran 6 times won 4 races 3 Grade 1’s, 1 Grade 2

lost to Flightline in the Classic.

Who do you say is older male?

If I was voting it would be Life is Good because he did more. Yes he was beaten by Flightline but I think he was beating better horses all year.

I agree, Life Is Good just because he ran more races.

A funny, tongue-in-cheek sort of article by Jay Hovdey on voting for the awards.

I agree with Jay on much of this. I truly believe Flightline should not be Horse of the Year!

I don’t think Flightline should either.

Since this breakdowns the numbers of who won the most Grade  1’s and many eclipse voters will have the same information thought we would like to see it.
