So, is March coming into your area like a lion or a lamb?  Here in northwest Florida, we're lamby but, I think

we're having thunderstorms tomorrow evening.  Everything greening up, blossoms on peach tree and dewberry

vines are really popping out.  Hopefully, March will be a healthier month than was February.  Both hubby and

I had some sort of weird virus like situation for weeks.  Much better now.  Hope all of you are doing well and

ready for Spring!

Our March rescue group, Dusty Puddles Dachshund Rescue?,  was nominated by dear Joan Roya years ago.

There is a donate link on home page at their website www.dustypuddles.org  .    I had to look very closely to

find the DONATE link.  Beneath "Hello, help us help them" is a circle with dachshund head image and the word

DONATE in very faded color (which made it escape my notice first several times I looked for it!)   Once you

find it, it works very well for connection to Pay Pal and provides a comment spot for the FOB DONATION

comment.  If you prefer snail mail, 2503 County Road 7820, Lubbock, TX 79423

Thank you all for being here for Barbaro's Legacy (hard to believe his 20th earthly birthday is coming up

next month).  Please let me know when you've seen and sent.

Hello,

Made a $25 donation to Dusty Puddles. Love those cute little Dachshunds.

I just adopted two cats from our local rescue in Palm Beach, Peggy Adams Rescue. I requested an older black cat, and I adopted Tally, and also Tiny, a 24 pound tan cat. They're both 9. My husband passed away in January after 10 years with blood cancer, so these two little cats really keep me company and are so sweet! I love supporting rescues. There are so many dogs and cats in need.

Oh, Tricia, I'm so very sorry to hear about your husband passing.  How are you doing - hope you are taking good care of yourself.   Bless you for adopting a couple of kitty cats.  I know they will provide company, comfort, and love - the entertainment will be endless.   Tiny?  24 pounds!  Yikes!  And, yes, there are so very many dogs and cats in desperate need of rescue.  Now, it seems, more than ever.

Hugs to you.

Happy March!  Ours came in like a lamb this year and has been very nice since the first.  But our hot weather is around the corner!

I have seen the rescue for this month and have donated through PayPal.

Tricia,

I am so sorry to hear about your husband's passing.  I am sure the 2 new cats are helping to ease the pain a little as you grieve.  May the wonderful memories of your husband comfort you.

Thank you, everyone, for your kind words.  When my husband was passing, I asked him to give me strength to carry on and he is giving me that strength! Beautiful memories are sustaining me.

Hi Linda: I just donated.

Well, since March began we have had horrible storms and so far I have had 2 power outages necessitating going to a hotel and losing all of our food.  Here in Michigan we have DTE energy and people are really angry because so many people lose power so often.

That is my tale of woe for the month!

Take care and be well

Marilyn
