They’ll need to let the trainers know specifically what the new procedures of the pre race exams etc.,….well before they start accepting entries or we’ll have dozens of scratches on race day.

Thanks for posting this informative report. I am impressed with how comprehensive it is and I hope they can learn some things from the findings that suggest that injury could be related to certain factors-- those factors need to be looked at carefully by the trainers, owners and others who are with a horse on a daily basis.

Seems to me they should just shut down the turf course: one horse fell already-- this day to day thing does not impress me---they need to make the turf course safe- EVERY DAY
