just got home
i had sensed he was struggling bravely with this long cancer bout
very sad to read this
he never said peep
. he just went on as long as he could
he had come to the anna house and was so generous to them
he and his wife..
so sad he ahd to leave now
he tried hard.. to do right by his horses his way
and he was so proud of his two
rachel and curlin
..and the foal to come;.
lord.
every second counts
not to have any regrets
get living..
yup
bless him and his family a good glass of wine
a toast to his life.

I was shocked to have just read this; he so loved Curlin and Rachel; too bad he didn't live to see their offspring. RIP; his heart was in the right place.

ahhhh makes me cry all over again
.. his barn was bustling all the time and i noted his absence
suddenly he wasnt in the crowd
and i knew he was home in bed...
