I wish it had a few other questions, or options, like a phase out  is the way to do this IMHO.

Just got around to reading this and it was interesting and both articles were good.  Crist has lots of experience in this game and I respect what he's got to say.

I respect him too and I really have to agree with what he is saying. I also think that only 10-20 % of the horses need lasix and IMHO they should not be running. Period end of story.

Awesome article written by a vet

New Model Needed for Race-Day Treatment, a Veterinarian Says

The white horse emerged late last year representing promise to restore a limping game; a new age of clean racing, race-day-medication-free racing; but the white horse hung coming down the lane. Too much Lasix, it seems; resulting in an inability to hold sway.

I really appreciate Ken McPeek's contribution and his opinions on how to proceed down the path of handling the Lasix issue.

Yes, I listened to most of the testimony and loved what Kenny said.

Matt Hegarty þ @DRFHegarty

The Jockey Club and TOBA have launched a website advocating for "medication-free racing." The site can be found at http://cleanhorseracing.org.

I like this, the two organizations that have teamed together, I do hope the the different state organizations listen.

Got an email with the link to the survey. You bet I filled it out.

Could we start a separate thread on this survey??? I'm afraid it could be lost in this thread, and as much participation as possible is needed.
