Shared Account, the winner of the 2010 Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Turf, has been retired and will be bred in 2012, trainer Graham Motion said on Wednesday.
Shared Account finished seventh in the BC Filly and Mare Turf at Churchill Downs on Nov. 4, the final start of a career of 6 wins in 18 starts. She earned $1,649,427.

Thanks Ger that is interesting that he was owned by Darley, but is retired to Journeyman, I wonder if Darley sold him outright or has retained a controlling interest in him and if he does well at stud they can choose to move him to KY.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – WinStar Farm has worked out a new plan for Drosselmeyer, the 2010 Belmont Stakes winner and 2011 Breeders’ Cup Classic winner, who will now stand at WinStar near Versailles, Ky., rather than at Keane Farm in New York as originally planned.

Hey! I saw the news earlier this week that he would stand in KY but timng for retirement was still up in the air - I see this answers that!
Happy Retirement Drosselmeyer!!!! I love his stamina and I hope others see it as a big plus! We need stallions like Dross to switch things up in this country - Go Drosselmeyer!!!
