I am so sorry he is gone, but it sounds like he passed peacefully at home.
Seattle Slew was the first race horse I fell in love with.
I think Billy Turner took that brilliant raw talent of Slew and turned him into rhe great race horse

The vet that did Secretariat’s necropsy, has died. His research was on seasonal changes in the grasses in Kentucky and thought those changes are what progressed Secretariat’s laminitis and had an affect on broodmares and their foals.
