Was hoping you would post this.  Was nervous when he was sent to Korea couple yrs. ago and now this happens.  I wonder how many early deaths are due to care which is less than we give our horses or perhaps to medical facilities which are not as good.  Wonder if we will ever find out what caused his death.

Boys at Tosconova was direct in tail male to Man O' War;  not many can say that these days.  Mainly they are through Tiznow but he was through Officer, Bertrando and Skywalker, then to Relaunch and the other common ancestors.  Has been nice to watch My Boy Tate do so well in stakes races the past few years.  Very grateful to Michelle Nevin, owner and trainer of My Boy Tate.

Rest in peace Boys at Tosconova.  You were a beautiful thoroughbred.

Yes, the unknown always makes you wonder “ what if”…… I feel more secure when they’re in the States, as there is the possibility of finding out the “why” more so than overseas.  Always sad to see breeding lines disappear.:(

Looking back at some BH articles, we also lost Archarcharch in Korea, due to an infection of some sort, and Menifee. Not sure I would want my horse to stand stud over there!

I did mourn Archarcharch's death as I was a fan of his because of the Kris S lineage from both Roberto and Princequillo.  However, I did not know the story about the death of Menifee.  I only read the headline of one of the articles and will return to it later and read it.  It was a disgrace for Korea and the people involved have his blood on their hands.

Gratitude to Lane's End for keeping their pensioned broodmares in their homes.  My sympathy to all those who loved Sweet Life.  What a great producer she was and a daughter of Kris S, too.
