If I had a horse I would run it at Churchill
They should close the track-- too many injuries and deaths IMO

RIP sweet girl, my condolences to her connections
In the first race May 27, Kimberley Dream sustained a significant injury—a distal sesamodean ligament rupture—to her left front leg. A similar injury occurred to Lost in Limbo during Friday's seventh race. Unfortunately, in both scenarios, attending veterinarians determined that the injuries were inoperable and unrecoverable and made the difficult but most humane decision to euthanize

I am so shocked. She was kind of a "local horse" around here-Delaware Park- Rick Porter.
What a shame.

It was very shocking. I didn't realize she was owned by Rick Porter- bless him- he was a wonderful owner and cared so much for his horses.

Wasn’t watching this race, recorded, but don’t think I’ll go back to watch it.
My condolences to her connections

Unfortunately I was watching it live to see how the Friedberg's horse and Rick Dutrow's horses did.
With all the fatalities recently, I was wondering why nothing has been said about bisphosphonates which were highly publicized a few yrs. ago. Any ideas about this?

Seems to me that I recall great concerns over its use on youngsters and the residual effects. Don't know when it was banned for them, but might it be a cause of breakdowns in some older horses at this time? Maybe I am very off-base on this.
