THE parading of Lot 131 - Black Caviar's little brother - today at the Inglis Yearling Sales is being touted as the two minutes that stops the nation.

The unnamed yearling is expected to enter the ring between 2.30-3.30pm, with experts predicting the sale will smash the all-time record price of $3 million set six years ago.

Caviar's brother fetches $5 million

http://www.racingvictoria.net.au/news/rvl/n_Caviars_brother_fetches_5_million.aspx

Black Caviar’s half-brother fetched a record figure at today’s Inglis Sale in Sydney
Honours on Day 1 of Australia’s most prestigious yearling sale went to Victoria thanks to a history-making colt who brought an Australasian record $5 million.

The son of Redoute’s Choice and Helsinge, which makes him a half-brother to world champion sprinter Black Caviar, was knocked down to Victorian-based BC3 Thoroughbreds.

Bred by the astute Rick Jamieson, principal of Gilgai Farm, and sold under the banner of Three Bridges Thoroughbreds the colt who went through as Lot 131 stole the limelight and the heart of BC3 head buyer John Brocklebank.

I know talk about presenting and selling your yearling wow. Of course they were rewarded with the highest sale price for a yearling in Australia of $5,000,000. He was purchased by the group that owns BC and her siblings.
