I think he would have had a test mare or 2 to make sure he was fertile? Or those few he got pregnant included them and was just lucky? I think he may just be particular like War Emblem? Or, as I said, he doesn’t like it there?

I admit to being shocked: He was a terrific two year old but apparently something went wrong because he apparently never regained his form. Very disappointing but I wish him well in Japan.

Just heard on Steve Byk that Zenyatta lost her Candy Ride foal. She is doing okay. Such sad news.
