Laurel moves it’s Stakes races to the following week due to the incoming hurricane this weekend, they’ll still run their regular races weather permitting;

Yes...remnants from Hurricane Gordon and now Hurricane Frances...my goodness we need an arch!
The race tracks must be so soaked.

Winter Weather Forces Tracks to Cancel Jan. 21 Cards
The Maryland Jockey Club canceled the special nine-race Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday program (Jan. 21) at Laurel Park due to severe winter weather conditions.

We are supposed to get 4-6 inches of snow tomorrow and then temps plunge on Friday 14 below zero! :(

Penn, Charlestown and Mahoning have all canceled today, Aqueduct will cancel Thursday ( I’m assuming Friday too)
