I saw some photos on twitter of the Curlin colt hip 173 that was the sales topper and OMG he is something.
This Steve Byk podcast I am linking is a good listen when you have time. It starts out talking about the unbelievable bidding war on the colt and then John Sikura of Hill 'n' Dale goes on to talk about the state of the racing and recent events. A good listen:

I know! Can’t believe the price! What an uptick for Curlin! Who needs Frankel, we have the Mighty Curlin! I just hope he lives up to that price on the track!

OBS Spring Sale Under Tack Show Off to Strong Start
The April 15 opening day of the under tack show leading up to next week's Ocala Breeders' Sales Spring Sale of 2-Year-Olds in Training was challenging, as work times were impacted by headwinds and a track perceived to be heavier than usual.
