The problem is these horses have been working, schooling and racing Since March with no one around. The only people allowed in the barns, the paddock, winners circle Etc are
the trainer, jockey, groom and maybe 1 more person.
The Derby was run with owners, friends and a few others in attendance. This was a huge crowd compared to what the horses have seen lately. It is lucky Bob and all the people in the winners circle were not injured.

Barne’s wife posted on FB Jimmy’s hand is set and they are heading to Hotel, he will need surgery but it can wait till they are back home in CA

Baffert’s 2 will stay in Wayne Lukas’s barn and head to Preakness in a month.
Kentucky Derby winner Authentic and Thousand Words with both target the Preakness.

As I suspected Tiz and CD surface not compatible, all things considered he ran a spectacular race
Trainer Barclay Tagg said Tiz the Law likely will skip the Preakness.

I'm not sure it's that as much as most of the field misjudging Authentic. I think no one thought he could get the distance, and he wasn't being pressured up front.
It doesn't matter. I'm truly heartbroken.
