The pressure is coming from the anti racing groups, who are targeting the big players and the goal is to end racing forever.

Jealousy is an ugly thing - horse trainers I am sure are elated that Baffert is not running in the Triple Crown races and may be banned from New York. Truly, it makes me sick.

I think he will ultimately lose the 2 year ban at CDI racetracks. But I do not blame him for fighting the good fight.
Bob Baffert's legal challenge to his two-year suspension from racing at tracks owned by Churchill Downs was filed about nine months after the inception of the ban. Now, close to the halfway point, the stage is almost set for a ruling.
