This sounds kind of suspicious. This year any trainer suspended must have their horses switched to new trainers by Feb 28, not April like last year. Who and when was this decided? I know they want to force trainers to not “cheat”, but it does seem odd they changed it without notification this year, and Baffert being the most prominent .

And, will KHRC delay Asmussen’s suspension until after the Derby from his 2018 appeal??? Interesting to see what they do as that would jeopardize his Derby horses????
