A lot of talk about 'freedom and democracy', yet something that is supposed to worked hand in hand but it doesn't where dictators are mass-ruling and leading with fanatical religious hogwash!

Honestly - I have the feeling that the cold wars were not as dangerous as we are about to live with the Islamic warfare, as we may observe it's spreading everywhere!

Close enough! Smart quote :)

In a civilised western society the unpopular government are rejected by vote without bloodshed, what makes it possible is to \u2018agree to disagree,\u2019 but many countries do not adopt this kind of mentality, this is why most of these countries without genuine democracy are into endless civil wars.

In the regular civilized world, we have our system clarified and most of the abiding citizens do follow, but not when it comes to the newly arrived refugees they get a very special traditional integration time which sadly can last several generations!

Old Edgar said that?  He didn't even have the Internet back then.

Some of us the old-guy's keeping old tradition actually still read books!

That's an old Twilight Zone movie.  Books are now obsolete.

Back to Roger Scruton's book and issue about human behaviour, the self-righteous 'free for all' as leftwing's mental militia likes it, his book was almost given away for free on soundcloud and youtube after a couple of months it was launched, but I wanted to be among the first ones to read it... therefore I see what you mean...

...   What did you find out with that book?  A leftwing person will sit there lying all day and

he doesn't even know he's lying.

That is part of human behaviour a well - Roger Scruton is pointing out how much Stockholm syndrome plays into unlawful behaviour, it creeps into some people's daily lives almost siding with the enemy and justifying criminal action, very often not realizing that they have become helpers to extent more what the enemies need and want in the first place!
