Sometimes, as an astronomer, it can be easy to get bogged down in all the number crunching, code compiling. But then you take a look at something like this and remind yourself THIS IS AN ACTUAL VIDEO OF 4 #EXOPLANETS ORBITING ANOTHER STAR 130LYRS AWAY!! #justwow #space #astronomy pic.twitter.com/rmMNTGQKR5

Good news! Yesterday, I successfully ejected the flight cover on my TAGSAM sampling arm. I also performed two spins -- called Sample Mass Measurements -- before and after to confirm that my mass changed about 2.5 lbs (approximately the weight of the cover). pic.twitter.com/wkugxtoKQ6

LOVE this space launches chart in @TheEconomist. Applaud their highlighting data driven stories in a new section. Still so crazy to me that all this great work goes uncredited (as do all the words in every issue). Thanks for the beautiful data viz anonymous graphic reporter! pic.twitter.com/uMkW8j0d3a

Viewed from a window inside the cupola, the @Space_Station's "window to the world," we see @JAXA_en's H-II Transfer Vehicle-7 cargo craft at the orbital complex on Oct. 11, with a view of Earth from 257 miles above providing the dramatic backdrop.
