In a nutshell, here follows abbreviated characteristics to help you identify "liberals".

A liberal is a communist whose words and deeds are hell-bent on destroying civilization.

Liberals are mentally disturbed and foolishly believe mass-media indoctrination.

Liberals are in favour of disarming law-abiding citizens.

Liberals approve of open borders.

Liberals approve of torturing unborn babies to death.

Liberals want tax-payer money to fund groups advocating tolerance of fringe elements like bandits.

Liberals enforce PC policy.

Liberals promote the extinction of nature's finest and most beautiful and seek to deny them free-speech in Germany, Austria, Canada etc.

Liberals advocate the equality theory without a shred of supporting evidence.

Liberals moan about segregation and discrimination EXCEPT when the victims lack suntans.  Then their silence is not golden; it is yellow.

Liberals reject the death penalty because they do not want law and order.

Liberals are more inclined to be pagans because they promote views seeking to destroy the uniqueness of what God has created.

Liberals are racked with "guilt" whereas it is us who have suffered most by the presence of other life-forms.

Liberals spit into the eyes of legal immigrants by forcing them to produce reams of documentation and give illegals red-carpet treatment.

Liberals cannot grasp the following simple concept:

Like parents delegating chores DOWN to their son eg washing the car or feeding the rabbit, the states delegated chores DOWN to the Federal government.

Liberals want the Feds to exceed delegated powers, like a son dictating to his parents.

The states created the Federal government, NOT-VICE-VERSA.

Liberal hypocrisy:
If a foreign army threatened to invade and execute 5 million English people then it would be genocide.
But if the foreign army said it would only torture and execute 5 million unborn babies, the liberals would applaud.

If a foreign army threatened to castrate tens of millions of English men, the human-rights lawyers would have a field-day.
Their silence was YELLOW when a multi-national pharmaceutical firm DELIBERATELY decimated the sperm-count using a specific chemical in baby-bottle cleaning solution.
Surprise, surprise the sperm-count has been reduced 40 or 50% in the last 50 years. Accidentally on purpose.

Surprise, surprise, the liberal "solution" is to import more 2 legged creatures from the dark continent instead of tax-incentives for more indigenous babies.
Liberals do not care about deliberately imported crime, grime and squalor.

If a liberal got "educated" when mugged by their beloved "misunderstood society", would you help or ignore or rub salt into their wounds ?

Liberals despise logic, even their own.  They say humans are part of the animal kingdom but reject "birds of a feather flock together".
01. If a Siberian tiger crosses the river into China, he does not become Chinese.
02. If a Chinese panda  bear crosses the river into Russia, he does not become Russian.
03. If an Egyptian cobra slithers into Palestine, he does not become Palestinian.
4. If an Asian elephant strolls into Africa, he does not become African.
5. If a Javan rhino moves to Mongolia, he does not become Mongolian.
Despite the above, Nigerians and Somalians are accused of being British even when smuggled into Britain illegally.
Do you see how liberalism is illogical ?

The moment you ask simple but pertinent questions, they stop the debate using malicious labels. Tell liberals to go to Hell. In effect, liberals advocate suicide, for their own people. They have been brainwashed. They cannot think for themselves. As far back as 1974, towers were capable of beaming brainwashing thought patterns.  Do you think mobile towers and LTE towers and G5 are so innocent when serviced using hazmat suits ?

Whereas conservatives are controlled by fear.

Peer-reviewed research shows that conservatives are generally more sensitive to threat. While this threat-bias can distort reality, fuel irrational fears, and make one more vulnerable to fear-mongering politicians, it could also promote hypervigilance, perhaps making one better prepared to handle an immediate threat.

1. Conservatives tend to focus on the negative.

In a 2012 study, liberal and conservative participants were shown collages of negative and positive images on a computer screen while their eye movements were recorded. While liberals were quicker to look at pleasant images, like a happy child or a cute bunny rabbit, conservatives tended to behave oppositely. They’d first inspect threatening and disturbing pictures—things like car wrecks, spiders on faces, and open wounds crawling with maggots—and would also tend to dwell on them for longer.

This is what psychologists call a “negativity bias.” If you think about it, this makes sense. When attention is biased toward the negative, the result is an overly threat-conscious appraisal of one’s surroundings. To many conservatives, the world may look like a much scarier place. This would seem to explain why so many major conservative viewpoints tend to be rooted in fear—fear of the president, immigrants, vaccinations, etc.

2. Conservatives have a stronger physiological response to threats.

A 2008 study published in the journal Science found that conservatives have a stronger physiological response to startling noises and graphic images. This adds to a growing body of research that indicates a hypersensitivity to threat—a hallmark of anxiety. But why exactly would those who scare more easily tend to support conservative views?

One social psychologist from the University of Central Arkansas, Paul Nail, has a pretty interesting answer: “Conservatism, apparently, helps to protect people against some of the natural difficulties of living. The fact is we don’t live in a completely safe world. Things can and do go wrong. But if I can impose this order on it by my worldview, I can keep my anxiety to a manageable level.” This could explain the two parties’ different stances on gun control. It makes sense that those who startle more easily are also the ones that believe they need to own a gun.

3. Conservatives fear new experiences.

2008 study cataloged items found in the bedrooms of college students and saw that while liberals owned more books and travel-related items, conservatives had more things that kept order in their lives, like calendars and cleaning supplies.

This suggests that liberals more often seek adventure and novel experiences. Conservatives, on the other hand, may prefer a more ordered, disciplined lifestyle. This could help explain why they can be resistant to change and progressive policies.

4. Conservatives’ brains are more reactive to fear.

Using MRI, scientists from University College London have found that students who identify themselves as conservatives have a larger amygdala than self-described liberals. This brain structure is involved in emotion processing, and it's especially reactive to fearful stimuli. It is possible that an oversized amygdala could create a heightened sensitivity that may cause one to habitually overreact to anything that appears to be a potential threat, whether it actually is one or not. This disproportionate fear response could explain how, for example, Bush’s administration was able to gather wide public support amongst conservatives for invading Iraq. Maybe if they said the phrase “weapons of mass destruction” enough times, it wouldn’t matter whether they existed or not.

Empirical evidence suggests that conservatives and liberals don’t just have different outlooks and opinions—they also have different brains. This means that our choice of political affiliation and overall worldview may not really be all that much of a choice. Still, we must work to understand these psychological and biological distinctions so that we can ultimately use this knowledge to work together and find middle ground. Such information may also make us less vulnerable to those who want to exploit these dispositions for their own selfish agendas by using tactics like fear-mongering.

Furthermore, knowing why someone is the way they are can help us to be more tolerant and patient with one another. But we must also be honest about the situation. When important choices are being made based on gut instinct rather than logical reasoning, it is everyone’s responsibility to point this out so that it doesn’t result in catastrophe.

Very interesting.

Can't understand all of it eg:

Does that make sense? Maybe it does.

Fear of change, immigration, "the others"... leads to building yuuuuuuuuuuuge walls and cutting yourself off from the big, bad world.

I dare say those who resisted Viking and Norman invasions must have been bigots for not relishing the prospect of a painful genocide.

Psychiatry is a fake pseudo branch of science.  The master-plan is to get everyone onto psychotriopic drugs. Different practitioners give different diagnoses of the same problem.

The true-drama movie "Ten days in a madhouse" shows how easy it was to be falsely diagnosed.  The West rightfully moaned about Soviet drugging of dissidents but did the same and worse tortures under the auspices of Project MK-Ultra

A university professor arranged for some students to pretend to be nutty until incarcerated and then behave normally.  The so-called mental health practitioners failed to recognize normal people when they saw them.

How's this for logic from a psychologist or psychiatrist, I cannot recall which:

"The ones who can benefit the most from group therapy are the ones who don't need it".

They proscribe drugs to screw up your mind.  Lo and behold, top performing shrinks get offered expenses-paid trips to conferences in hawaii and Florida.

Walls make for good neighbours.  Pity Hadrian did not build a stronger wall to keep out the Jocks.

Prove it.

This might be one of the very rare occasions when you (along with your elderly chum MrSammo and the now deceased wozz-is-name) show us something useful!

Being a conservative, I do agree with most of that.  I like being mindful of things/situations around me that might prove harmful to me and/or my family.  IMHO, life is much smoother when one is aware of unpleasant or dangerous situations and is prepared to handle them.  That makes it easier to enjoy life as it happens.  Just going through life willy-nilly, with no thought of "what if", and no care of the consequences of actions, is not something I could do.  That does not make one vulnerable to fear-mongering, because in the process of exploring the consequences of a proposed action, one learns what is true and what is hyped up.

Hope the above makes some sense.  It's wayyy past bedtime.

Conservatism is not fear of change.  It is being aware of possible consequences of those changes in order to minimize unwanted or unhealthy outcomes.
