Our glorious leader did not accept the budget deal , the polls indicated that if he did not he would possibly lose the next election , so far his tenure has proven to be very poor .

How was the officer to know the man was autistic ?

Like all these sad events , these facts only appear after

It is unlikely that despite these events the Israeli   police will give any quarter , the attacks on soldiers and police are so quick so sudden that there is no opportunity to do anything but bring the assailant down ASAP

Bigger question.  What was the man doing that warranted the police showing up?

Would the situation have been better handled by a mental health care worker?

The "What if's" always come too late , there are multiple attacks in Israel, this week a Young married Rabbi with kids is knifed , his killer was apprehended shortly afterwards and detained .

Generally the police or the troops have mili seconds to make a decision and it is callous but honest if I say better them than me , they do not come at you to harm you they come at you to kill you if they can

Qatar are the brokers , Hamas needs money to pay their people and it is now going to be allowed in - this is merely a burp on an ceaseless round of endless conflict with a group who takes their orders from Teheran

The police were on duty. They called to the lad. He ran away. They assumed he had something to hide and he was a terrorist. A policemen fired his gun and missed. The lad was eventually cornered and a young inexperienced policeman thought he was going to be attacked and shot the lad despite being told not to by his companion.

Tragic, but don't ever run from the police because guilt will be assumed and in most cases the police will be right.
