Wisconsin Election: Voters Forced to Choose Between Protecting Their Health and Their Civic Duty

The state is the first to hold a major election with in-person voting since stay-at-home orders were widely instituted because of the coronavirus.

I wonder if the election will be contested if the Democrat wins?

Who, Biden? Because Bernie 'ain't' no Democrat.

Note aside, we won't know till they start counting the mailed votes (two to three weeks).

Don't know, Meddly.  I just read a piece from The New York Times (link below)  stating that the results of the election are almost certain to be contested because voters were "forced to choose between their health and the election", "especially if the conservative State Supreme Court Justice Daniel Kelly wins a full 10-year term".

People turned out, risking their lives, because the really important vote was about the Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice. Kelly, who Trump was in favor of, on national TV, and threatened voters about it, was not the winner.

Thank you, voters of Wisconsin, you were brave to do your part, vote for "NO", that you didn't want a person that would take your civil liberties away, (except for guns).

Bravo!

What threat did he make to the voters?

Oh, it was something implied. Watched what he said about the Wisc election on news. Will have to do some research for the actual statements, if you want that.

That would be most welcome, thank you.

The president then falsely claimed that Wisconsin Democrats acted at the last minute to postpone the April 7 election not because of safety concerns but because he endorsed state Supreme Court Justice Daniel Kelly “just the other day” on social media, referring to an April 3 tweet.

OK, Jen, can't come up with anything more at the moment about how Trump was "threatening". but everything he says seems threatening, so the implication was perceived by me. Mea Culpa

That's OK.

Thanks for at least looking into it.
