With one of lowest rates of testing in the world, experts fear COVID-19 could be rapidly spreading undetected throughout the war-torn Yemen, where the health care system "has in effect collapsed".

The atrocities that we do (or in this case enable) will bite us on the arse. Diseases can be wiped out - but not if there are pockets of chaos and suffering.

Such pockets are what our policies are creating.

Berrys notion of the Middle East is mostly predicated on what he read in Enid Blytons Noddy .

Having lived here for 44 years served for 40+ and been in the service of the Government to meet friend and foe alike I can say with absolute certainty that my worst enemies will one day be our friends this I know
