Yes, pretty nasty weather up there. Very heavy rain, flash floods. Looks like a landslip derailed the train. Having said that, rail accidents are pretty rare nowadays in the UK.

We've had a week of pretty warm days. It's cooler today with a sea mist but yesterday was 22 C almost all day. Far too hot for me. When we get a spell like that, it always ends in spectacular thunder and lightning and lots of very heavy rain. Down south it's been much warmer with temps in the low 30s. A reason for me to live up North.
