Ah but Pope Francis still does not recognize Gay marriage.
The Pope's dictum simply is a message of toleration. The Church's Gay toleration is necessary because of dwindling attendance and dwindling dollars.
Bottom-line and all doncha know?

I don't like anyone claiming to be a Christian who who dishonors God's Word by knowingly and deliberately promoting false teachings and abhorrent behaviors.
And the Pope is an apostate.

Doesn't Jesus teach us to love our neighbours and not judge people?
Perhaps the false teachings are those developed by men, who were assuming to know the mind of God?
If God is omniscient, infallible, loving, forgiving and accepting - then it stands to reason God made homosexual people, he meant to do so, they are exactly the way he intended them to be and he loves them just the way they are.
