You appear to have lost the narrative.

This is a great rant.

That was good. He really pulls it all together and wraps a bow around it

I particularly liked this line:

"Fvcking idiots who I played high school football with"

It reminded me of 5 years ago, when this current civil war broke out in our schools here in Iowa.

Police Abuse, Civil Rights Violation at Urbandale High School 10/14/16

He harassed Black folks at that Iowa high school football game with his Confederate flag, accusing them of being "cop haters".

The encounter appears to have been filmed by Greene and posted on YouTube under an account with his name. The video, shot on Oct. 14, was uploaded on Oct. 16 to YouTube with the title "Police Abuse, Civil Rights Violation at Urbandale High School 10/14/16."

McCarty said Greene was asked to leave the Urbandale High School football field after people near him during the national anthem complained that he was waving a Confederate flag in the face of nearby African-Americans.

In the YouTube video, Greene tells officers he wants to file a complaint against unidentified African-Americans who he accused of "smacking" him before police escorted him from the stadium.

In a YouTube comment posted in response to a person complaining about police being too lazy to investigate the purported assault, Greene wrote: "I was offended by the blacks sitting through our anthem. Thousands more whites fought and died for their freedom. However this is not about the Armed forces, they are cop haters."

I am an American!

SquaddyB, if you are an American, then you must remember back in 2016, five years ago when the current phase of this civil war began, when they came for the children in schools here in Iowa and elsewhere all around the country.

If you are an American, then you must remember how terrified the children were back then. You must remember how it just kept escalating throughout the campaign, and how, in the days running up to election day in 2016, this civil war spilled out of the confines of our schools and into the streets.

Donald Trump (And His Supporters) Are Ruining High School Basketball Games, America

Mar 1, 2016,12:19am EST

Donald Trump is a horrible person, a horrible presidential candidate, and even if he were to stop running tomorrow, has already made America a more horrible place. For example, in the last few weeks, there have been incidents where student cheering sections at high school basketball games have tastelessly taunted opposing teams from more heavily Hispanic schools with chants invoking Trump's name.

In Iowa (from WHO-TV), involving two public schools:

At [Perry High's] Monday night’s game against Dallas Center-Grimes, opposing fans used Trump’s disdain for illegal immigrants to target several players of Latino descent.

"We are all aware of racism, it's alive and well in small portions but it's alive and well and it's just hurtful to see that's what they resort to,” said Kevin Lopez, Perry Student Section Leader.

Chants like “Trump, Trump, Trump” and "USA" were said.

According to players, chants like, “Trump, Trump, Trump,” were said and they were trying to intimidate Perry players by reciting things Trump has said about what he plans to do with immigrants and their children if he is elected.

Perry is 35 percent Hispanic, while Dallas Center-Grimes is just under 3 percent. Perry High School Principal Dan Mahburger told Iowa Public Radio that his is one of the few schools in Iowa "that has a plan for what would happen if immigration would come in and take some of their parents."

"I can tell you, we have many kids that are scared. They’re fearful of the rhetoric that is out there. They hear the anti-immigration talk," Mahburger told Iowa Public Radio. Given that Trump kicked off his campaign by calling Mexican immigrants "rapists" and has seen his standing in Republican primaries only go up as he's ramped up anti-immigrant talk -- and can't get away from those opinions at a basketball game -- well, yeah, why wouldn't they be scared?

And in Indiana (from the Northwest Indiana Times), involving two Catholic schools):

At Friday's game, a student from Andrean [in Merrillville, Ind.] brought a large photo of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. During the game, the Niners students began chanting to the Bishop Noll students across the gym "Build A Wall," which was followed by the Warriors students chanting "You're A Racist."

The Andrean students began pointing to the African-American students in their student section, to which the [Hammond] Bishop Noll students chanted "You're A Token." Some fans at the game were insulted because of Trump's views about immigration.

I did and they are all poppycock. There is no current, has not been recently, or there's no impending civil war.
