They were the last of "old" Las Vegas. We saw them many times, they were a class act and are truly missed. We were so glad we didn't see their last show, and are able to retain only good memories. There is really only one stage show in Vegas now that we care to see, and having seen it 4 times already probably will not go again for some time. In case you're ever here again, take in "La Reve", it's worth the money.

Now there was a real news personality - from its beginning in the '70's, we never missed his show. I doubt he is replaceable as a news host. Surprisingly, 7 women found him replaceable as a husband; although it's possible, I guess, that he found marriage stifling and kept on trying. Todays hosts, left and right, are too full of themselves with their interviews ending up as hit pieces. King never did that. He treated everyone the same, made his guests the center of the show and left his audience smiling. You can't get better than that.
