Perhaps I'm missing something in the reasoning of anti-vaxxers.  We have had mandated vaccinations for school-age children for decades, for measles, chickenpox, smallpox, polio - and they all contain some degree of risk.  If a child is not vaccinated, they can't register for school.  So what is the difference with this vaccine?  I understand it was approved for emergency use, but come on people, I'd think your child contracting or spreading Covid is an emergency.  Get your child vaccinated or homeschool until they are.

I don't think the actual vaccine is the issue.

The whole pandemic got so twisted up in party politics that it's just been lumped in with everything else people don't trust about "the other side".

There is also a healthy dose of rampant stupidity.

That could be, but you would think somewhere along the way people on both sides, seeing the same information, would arrive at the same conclusion.  GET THE VACCINE!
