Bungalows will see a a boom in sales in Miami, and condos will be bargains. Why is everyone so surprised at what happened, in the US bridges have collapsed, so have dams and the Amtrak derails just about every month; and yet Congress is not agreeing on a plan to improve infrastructure. In NYC water mains burst regularly and otherwere people have lead in their drinking water!

The US water supply is running through pipes constructed in the 1800s.

Rep. Val Demings, a Democrat challenging GOP Sen. Marco Rubio, said she was “glad to see productive partnership between local, state, and federal officials as we work to save lives.”

“In times of crisis,” she said, “we need to set partisanship aside and do what’s right for our communities.”

In other words, when there is no crisis, everyone should choose partisanship over doing what is right for the community.

Never thought I'd catch a politician in such a candid moment of self awareness.
