I like the historical references and the humor. Finns have a unique sense of humor, much centered on alcohol. In using cannon loaded with light balls, Garybrandy uses light beer that only causes the enemy space ship to rust out. There was transmission noise and me misheard the order.
I liked Iron Sky also. It is a Finnish film but it is in English. The president of the US was a Sarah Palin look alike. Iron Sky is about German Nazis living on the back side of the Moon and a black American astronaut discovers them.

Good grief!!
I check out France 24, Al Jazeera and Euronews, as well as the UK news sites. I also check out DW every day for the German news. Oh, and I've recently been keeping a close eye on the Cumbre Vieja on Las Palmas.

It keeps me informed. But your news sites are all Western propaganda. I check everybody's propaganda.
I had a New Zealand site when covid hit but it started rationing how many artcles I could read without paying so that was the end of them. Asia Times was a good site until they started charging.
I haven't found any site in Australia that offered insights different than CNN.
I like the Iranian site for a different perspective.
The China site is new. It is more sophisticated propaganda that it used to be.
And then I spend at least an hour on Quora and that is the best of all.

I find really good films on my own. My taste is not your taste.
I think my sites represent various points of view. The headlines are occasionally clicked for more information. Then if the article has curiosities I do further searches so that I have better grasp of the storage.
For instance Joel Souza being shot by Alec Baldwin led me to information on Joel Souza and he is the same Joel who grew up on our street in Fremont, California and he was often in our home to play with our son. Another Hollywood directors on the same street was Len Wiseman.
Joel had a very likable personality for a kid. It looks like he still does as an adult.
