It will get a lot worse if and when the Turks and the Kurds clash , the US decision to remove troops in readiness for a Turkish advance is a another sign of Trump weakness this is in light of Erdogan seeing down Trump over the issue of the F35

Similarly, the big Kurdish towns and cities along the border, Kobane and Qamishili and others, remain calm. There's been no call for people to evacuate from those areas.

Prisons full of IS foreign fighters are further south and will continue to be under Kurdish control - if Turkey restricts itself to a limited assault.

The above is from the same article, toward the bottom.  If the Kurds are remaining calm, perhaps others should also.

Sadly, it's going to get worse and will continue to get worse until Trump is removed.

The Kurds will be readying for war , if they don't the Turks will walk all over them .

Syria was a mess before Trump, and will continue to be after him.

The decision to cut lose a long time ally is reprehensible but sadly par for the course for the current US administration.

The resurgence of ISIL as they regroup is now a matter of time and a change yet again of the map is inevitable .

Blood shed is inevitable .

This is from a President who has made a political career of lambasting Obama and yet follows and walks in his steps and shadow
