This is not involving Hamas at this moment, Islamic Jihad are opposed to Hamas whilst both receive funding and strategic assistance from Iran it is Islamic Jihad who are the more aggressive as Hamas are facing serious new realities on the ground as there is a ground swell of oppostion to their rule which has achieved absolutely nothing .

About 250 rockets fired into Israel about 1/3 intercepted by Iron Dome and about the rest mostly falling onto waste ground

It is unlikely the Army will enter Gaza it is more than likely they will be held in reserve in case Hamas decide to open up as well (so far they have more or less kept out of it )

They will achieve nothing

BM

PS - I am not sure if you know but at the same time as we were removing the head of Islamic Jihad in Gaza we were doing the same to his leader in Damascus , anyway there were 72 Virgins waiting for them I guess last night they would have been busy

Terrorism.

Particularly sickening because the democratically elected Hamas only ever wanted to live in peace with its neighbours and never initiated any violence against Israel.

What did Israel do? It mass-murdered 150 Hamas policemen in the first seconds of breaking a highly successful 6 month cease-fire and flattened all prisons and police stations.

Then armed the jihadis who were arising and prevented Hamas from dealing with them.

Conditions inside the concentration camp are horrific and getting worse.

You've deliberately armed the jihadists and pretty much destroyed any security that Hamas could have maintained.

You did that totally cynically and deliberately.

You've done the same in Lebanon and in Syria.

The Most Current Hamas Covenent https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/hamas-2017-document-full

You try living in peace with these Murderous bastards

There shall be no recognition of the legitimacy of the #### entity. Whatever has befallen the land of Palestine in terms of occupation, settlement building, judaisation or changes to its features or falsification of facts is illegitimate. Rights never lapse.

20. Hamas believes that no part of the land of Palestine shall be compromised or conceded, irrespective of the causes, the circumstances and the pressures and no matter how long the occupation lasts. Hamas rejects any alternative to the full and complete liberation of Palestine, from the river to the sea. However, without compromising its rejection of the #### entity and without relinquishing any Palestinian rights, Hamas considers the establishment of a fully sovereign and independent Palestinian state, with Jerusalem as its capital along the lines of the 4th of June 1967, with the return of the refugees and the displaced to their homes from which they were expelled, to be a formula of national consensus.

Yahya Sinwar, leader of Hamas in Gaza, and senior political leader Ismail Haniyeh on 27 March (AFP)

At what meeting was this photo taken and where? Israel mass-murders any such collection of Palestinian politicians.

Where and when did Hamas adopt this Charter?

Where did Hamas publish this Charter?

Why does Hamas even need a Charter? Western friendly Likud has no Charter (though small sections appeared in the 1990s - they say that Israel will never allow a two-state solutions - immediately proving that every western #### was delusional in their "support" of Israel).

The first Hamas Charter seems to have been written by Israeli when it founded Hamas in 1988 (as a means to destroy the non-religious Fatah).

Where have Hamas published this document? Middle East Eye operates in Occupied London. It cannot say anything nice about Hamas, cannot travel to Gaza and cannot contact Hamas directly.

Worst of all, its a translation - notoriously abused by the #### to distort the meaning of everything coming from the Middle East. So  who translated it?

Can't blame them.

Israel should have a legal right to exist - but only because the UN was blackmailed by the US into passing the resolution of UNGA 181. (A resolution never tested in court - it would almost certainly have been thrown out then - and almost certainly denied now if it were litigated).

Israel was then allowed into the UN in May 1949, most solemnly promising to comply with the partition resolution and UNGA 194 the return of the refugees.

Until the #### comply with the (legally very questionable) partition resolution and their own promises there can be no expectation on the Palestinians to recognise it.

Nor is there any reason for the other parties at the Lausanne Conference to abide by their acceptance of the partition, since Israel has so blatantly failed to comply with it.

The rights of the Jewish victims of the #### never lapsed - even though those rights pre-date the signing of the UN Charter and International Law as we now understand it.

How much more true is it that the rights of the Palestinians, dispossessed post-1945, are inalienable!

Backed by the entire world and very solemn promises by Israel in May 1949!

You're running away again - you know nothing about this so-called Charter and its publication is very suspicious.
