Without any doubt!

But that is not a federal offense, or else every prison would overflow!

OMG!  Things in the news world must be pretty slow if this is considered newsworthy.

No, the news world is not slow, we are talking of an Australian national, under indictement in the US and therefore a reaction from the Australian government would be interesting, to say the least.

also, I dont have a crystal ball to know what your interests may be.

I apologize if I offended you.  I am a US citizen.  Pamela Anderson is a US citizen.  I was making what I thought was a light-hearted comment.  Anderson is a B-rated actress with her one claim to fame being the Bay Watch Babe.  I found it astounding that she would offer criticism to Morrison, about whom she knows nothing.  As with other celebrities in this country, she went for her current 15 minutes of fame and found it.

This is very dismissive of her right to ask the question, being a guest on a news show in Australia. Morrison’s answer was tasteless to say the least.

Actually no, Assange is Australian and I have not heard much about what the authorities think or propose to help resolve a difficult situation for several UN member states.
