We have a section of the southern coast where the cliffs date back to the Jurassic and they're eroding. Unsurprisingly it's called 'The Jurassic Coast'. That's where a lot of finds are made.

Despite its teeth, it died out whilst dinosaurs still roamed the planet. There must have been a downside.

As someone who's greatest fear is crocodiles, I have no problem with it's extinction.

I really can't see it. I'd be far more concerned about tiny ubiquitous poisonous creatures that can kill a human with one nibble.  Stay away from their habitat and crocs won't have a chance of a nibble.
