I just don't have the time.
With 2 forums here most of my time is spent, and when it comes to others I visit, I prefer those that focus on actual conversations, as opposed to memes as a way of communicating ideas.

I get it, but I do comment when the memes stimulate a response, and I rely on them as a sort of shorthand. They communicate ideas I find amusing or sardonically on point, and they permit me to cover more ground in the limited time I can devote to these fora . . .

Man escapes serious injury during crocodile attack in Arnhem Land - ABC News
A 23-year-old man is lucky to be alive after being attacked by a 1.8 metre crocodile while fishing in Arnhem Land. Police say he managed to hold onto mangroves until the croc let go.
