Good Morning from a lovely Hot Israel , it has not yet got humid and Betty Swallocks has not yet flown in.
This is political ping pong - take away NK's nuclear weapons and what is on the table in exchange , the NK army is massive and it contains a massive clout but the US would if need be annihilate the army in days if push comes to shove , so for this detente to move ahead KJU has to know what is available for him to allow him to sustain his position and that of his immediate followers
This is NOT ABOUT REUNIFICATION that is not on the table this is about bringing North and South into a commercial alliance which maybe one day bring about unification as each side gains from the other

Note what I said - Korea could be re-unified peacefully, even with honour.
KJU might be unfit or unwilling or unacceptable as Emperor - it would after all be a very, very difficult transition for him to make.
Perhaps it would take millions of adoring subjects turning out for him at every opportunity in a triumphal tour of his unified country - I'm sure that would appeal to him rather a bit.
But even if I've been on a flight of fantasy (and what's wrong with that?) you cannot dispute that KJU could be pensioned off in stages - giving him all the earnings of the workers at the Kaesong Industrial Park, for instance, make it (and much bigger versions) his private fiefdom.
He could gradually but really quite easily detached from real power, along with all his cronies, while other Koreans, North and South, moved into the agencies of a united Korean government.
Peaceful and popular - and eminently obtainable.
The alternative, as must be obvious, is massive bloodshed.

On another forum Berry has suggested that KJU could be made Emperor ...............................
I wonder at the end of this year when you are handing out prizes for the ANNUAL STUPID POST award if you can consider Berry's KJU for Emperor award , it ranks highly with some of his other splendid efforts at trying to think out of the box

I have no idea why you think any of these five things are necessary.

I don't think KJU likes the idea that his people need to be saved by anyone - especially not from him.
The more they are kept in the dark and under a jackboot, the more power he has.
He will not give that up easily.

Actually that depends. What if you just took out KJU?
The truly brainwashed would want vengeance, obviously, but he is overweight and could simply die of a heart attack...
His children are too young to take over, so that would depend on the generals. Would they keep their power, or do what is best for their people?
It would all depend on the character of the man left in charge.
