The rules for the kiddy rooms were not dictated.  They were agreed with consensus from our offsprings who can be quite fussy.  Aged about 5 or 6, my son found some money.  I asked why won't he share it with his sister.  He replied:  "Because we don't have a contract".   Our kids blatantly forged "contracts" by cutting and pasting my beautiful signature from lined page A onto unlined page B.  One such forged contract said I would pay my son some money if I kissed him.
