Is this Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle? We used to go there frequently when I was a kid. It was beautiful and great even then. We'd take a picnic lunch and spend the afternoon. Do families even do that any more? When we didn't have time to drive to Seattle, we'd spend the day at Point Defiance Park, which is in Tacoma, WA. Lots of places to picnic, a small zoo (at that time) and beautiful gardens. Haven't been to a zoo in probably 30 years.
