Sometimes we need reminding of the nature of government and how it oppresses others, even today.

Sanctions are pretty much extortion.

Sanctions are pretty much extortion.

Nobody ever said that about the "Germany will crack this winter" campaign from 1933 to 1939.

However, there is a huge mystery about that campaign. In 1935, Hitler passed the Nuremberg Laws and mass-cancelled the citizenship of the German Jews.

Yet there was no squeak of protest - not then - and not at the rather fine 1936 Olympics the next year.

How can that be? Don't tempt me to tell you!

All roads used to lead to Rome today they lead to Jersualem according to the twit - ask about lollipops and somehow they will lead to Israel and Jews

It will soon get tedious and the lies will be seen

But who is hurt most by the sanctions?

What do they do other than foster resentment that ultimately leads to hostilities?

Do you want a Nuclear Iran ?

Do you beleive that allowing Iran enough wriggle room to further develop their already advanced knowledge is in the interest of regional and global peace?

YES the people of Iran will suffer but where they consulted at any level about anything , will they perhaps look for change if it starts to hurt enough ?

Generally Iranians are pro western in their outlook , their leadership is not

What is in YOUR best interest ?

The Chinese President marks the centenary of student protests that defined the nation, delivering a speech that carefully urges China's youth to embrace the spirit of the May 4 Movement.

We should be making an effort to tell the Chinese people that their regime has committed great sins against them and we'll get on with them much better once the guilty ones have been exposed and expelled from their government.
