i watched a multi part series about a woman who would eventually die too young who was closing in on the catching of this guy , she predicted two things - he was a policeman and that DNA as the forensics improved would ultimately catch him.
The Ladies name was Michelle McNamara and the series was called " I'll be gone in the dark"
