This goes back to a story you yourself cut and pasted about Swarms of Drones this is the war of the future ,what is interesting is that the Iranians left footed the SAUDIS and exposed yet again their weakness with regards to defence and intel.

The Saudis are ham strung on how to reply, the Drones were Iranians but will they attack Iran , nope , the US and the Saudis  will more than likely call on Israel to create a little mischief in Iran - watch this space

Couldn't  Israel could sell them the same anti-drone defences that were used at Gatwick Airport recently and bought for Heathrow.

"Neither airport indicated what technology they’ve fielded, but they’ve indicated that they will provide a “similar level of protection” as what the Army brought with it in December. That system was reportedly manufactured by Israeli defense contractor Rafael, which allows operators to jam a drone’s radio signals and allow it to land safely."

The Israelis are also hamstrung in which Defence platforms are safe to sell to countries which are so heavily infiltrated by various enemies and whilst technology today is old hat tomorrow we also know what Hezbollah has up its sleeve if and when conflict occurs , both the Houthi and Hezbollah are birds of a feather etc.

Yes, that's a fair point. I hadn't thought of that aspect.

The drones are guaranteed to be Western made.

And I think its unlikely that Iran would strike oil facilities - they're so much more vulnerable themselves.

Saddam and the US are the only people who've done it before.

Another Israeli invention that probably didn't work atall.

May have shut down the airport much worse than if they'd not been there!

Gosh, that's why the British army have have spent £16 million on six Israeli anti-drone systems.
