Don't know where you got the picture from, but it appears to be genuine and from China.
Most reports in languages other than English - one claims this wall is 91 metres high. (May be a conversion of 300 feet!)

The "wall of trees" is being planted in the hope it will stop the encroaching desert.

Will a 'six bins' system solve the recycling crisis?
Victorian households could be separating rubbish into six or more bins - instead of the usual two or three - to help solve the state's recycling crisis.

Definitely something like that needed.
But how it will work for city-dwellers nobody knows.

And how many different rubbish bin collection trucks will be needed to pick up all six bins?!
And how much fuel will they need, and how much exhaust fumes will they pump into the air?
Lowering the price of compost bins would be a good start.
Seriously, the simplest ones start at $60, going all the way up to $300!
That's why we have a pile in a disused corner flower bed with old tarp over it.
