The very same and it is symptomatic of where we are going , Le Penne has won in France where Jews are no longer wearing the Kippah , we are still a long way off from Nazis Germany but perhaps you can see NOW the vital reason for Israel

Ironically Germany is the main country holding the EU together.

Or, more specifically, Merkel is.

IMO the Germans possibly will also be seen as the core of the destruction of the EU

The introduction of a million Syrians would not have pleased everybody and the ripple effect then set the cat amongst the pigeons throughout Europe . There were calls for countries to accept minimum quotas , the Greeks, the Italians have nearly drowned and each are on the turn due the uncontrolled influx of migrants  - the UK IMO the core issue was Migration , the call from Brussels that there had to be an acceptance of XYZ etc .

If you are going to bring into ANY country such figures as a million people it behoves the Government to listen to the people beforehand OR expect to see a back lash

The Greek economy cannot be blamed on immigrants.

They went tits up due to economic incompetence.

Italy, however, could.

With tourism being such a big industry, it was so disheartening to see pop-up souvenir stalls run by immigrants who paid no taxes.  All cash in hand, no receipt.

However, they at least worked in the afternoons when tourists were out and about.

Italian owned stores close down for a siesta from lunch time til 4pm.  The migrant pop-ups don't.

And then, the legitimate store owners don't necessarily pay their taxes unless you get an official receipt, and most people don't.

The economies of Greece and Italy have been faltering and failing for some time the almost unchecked influx of migrants has merely exasperated the situation
