A space station falling at 550kph, where it would land, a mystery. Enter Balladonia, WA

The headline is bollocks for starters.

And the bodytext.

The space station was set on a subsequent collision course for Earth, criss-crossing across 90 per cent of the world's population at around 340 miles (about 550 kilometres) an hour.

The demise of the Skylab space station is a larger-than-life tale involving an international space agency, sordid conspiracy theories, diplomatic cables, and the tiny town of Balladonia, WA - population, nine.

A conspiracy theory which doesn't match the facts. The US (unless parts of the story are missing?) didn't want any of the junk and, if it had come down under control, would have been put into the ocean.

I live in the state where pieces of it fell.

Why would an entire country make this up?

Was it orbiting at 340 miles per hour?
