He should have been arrested.
Instead, he was allowed to bully his way into the Presidency.

I think it's too late.
He started his campaign by bullying Iowans, and we let him get away with it.
His campaign spread a hate wave throughout Iowa, which grew in fertile ground.
Then he took his campaign of bullying nationwide, and in alliance with the NRA and the KKK, he escalated it to gunbullying.
His campaign's parting shots here in Iowa resulted in two police officers being ambused and assassinated just 30 miles south from here in the days leading up to the election.
Had this man been stopped when he came for the Iowans, he would be in jail today, and not in the Oval Office tomorrow.
But it's going to be really hard to arrest this man now that he's the President-Elect, after letting him get away with so much gunbullying during this long, long campaign.
And believe me, if you don't live here in Iowa, you have no idea just how long campaigns are.
If anybody else out there wants to have their caucus or primary be first in the nation, they can have the honor of going first next time around.
Long campaign seasons are no fun, believe me, especially when it is a campaign of hate.

Judge to President Trump: No protection for speech inciting violence
A federal judge has rejected President Donald Trump's free speech defense against a lawsuit accusing him of inciting violence against protesters at a campaign rally.
snip------------
Judge David J. Hale in Louisville ruled Friday that the suit against Trump, his campaign and three of his supporters can proceed. Hale found ample facts supporting allegations that the protesters' injuries were a "direct and proximate result" of Trump's actions, and noted that the Supreme Court has ruled out constitutional protections for speech that incites violence.
"It is plausible that Trump's direction to 'get 'em out of here' advocated the use of force," the judge wrote. "It was an order, an instruction, a command."
snip------------
Heimbach, for his part, sought to dismiss the lawsuit's discussion of his association with a white nationalist group and of statements he made about how Trump could advance the group's interests. The judge declined, saying such information could be important context when determining punitive damages.
The judge also declined to remove allegations that Nwanguma, an African-American, was the victim of racial, ethnic and sexist slurs from the crowd at the rally. This context may support the plaintiffs' claims of negligence and incitement by Trump and his campaign, the judge said.
"While the words themselves are repulsive, they are relevant to show the atmosphere in which the alleged events occurred," Hale wrote.

I can still remember Bloody November back in 2016.
It was the bloodiest election week that my state of Iowa has ever had the misfortune to suffer.
Here in Iowa, we usually don't have election related violence.
It was a first.
It was filled with racist Confederate bullying. It was filled with blood. And it was filled with tears.

Please provide newsprint about your allegation. The video you posted was of a woman thanking the officer she was hugging for his service and telling him she prays for his safe return home each night.
I did a deep dive on Iowa Riots Election 2016. I also searched the Des Moines Register and "Iowa Bloody November 2016". The google search returned no Iowan newspaper citing bloody riots. I did find an article recounting a riot where the police allegedly started the violence. There was no mention of Confederate bullying and racism.
The text you posted was of a woman thanking the officer for his service, and saying she would pray for his safety so he could go home to his family each night like she goes home to hers.
I'm not saying you are wrong. Maybe I read more into than there was. I do find it surprising that there was no mention of any blood and hate-filled riots in Iowa in the Des Moines Register for election week November 1026 or any other Iowa newspaper for that matter.

I just did a search "Iowa election 2016 violence" and got nothing either.

US president Donald Trump says his own director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention was "confused" when he said it would take six to nine months for a coronavirus vaccine to be effective.

If you notice my post above, it links to a post of mine from February 1, 2016, starting a thread titled, "I want this man arrested".

Back then, it was the primary season, and nobody expected the guy to actually nominated by the GOP to be their candidate for president. Not even him. His candidacy was just a publicity stunt to make him money.
My concern then was not that he would actually be elected President. It was that his blatant bullying of Iowans and his violent threats made towards Iowans would result in an increase in racist bullying all across Iowa by fans of that Confederate Fake Republican Steve King, who had been flying his Confederate Flag on his US Congressional desk since 2002.
As expected, the racist bullying started here in Iowa, against Black and Brown schoolchildren in middle schools and high schools, before the month of February was even over. Here's an article from February 25, 2016, about this war against schoolchildren.

This kind of thing happened repeatedly here in Iowa, during the primary, and throughout the general election season as well, since the GOP decided to nominate this Fake Republican Steve King wannabe as their presidential candidate.
It wasn't just here in Iowa schools where this rapidly escalating cultural war was being waged against the children. Here's an article from April 11, 2016 from our next door neighbors in Wisconsin, just across the Mississippi river from us.
This bullying war against children went nation wide. It was the beginning of a 2nd Civil War in this nation, where our schools became the battleground, in a war waged against children. We could have stopped it had we just arrested the perpetrator when he first came for the Iowans.
