I know it's harmful to dogs but is chocolate harmful to cats too?

Chocolate

Chocolate can be lethal for cats. Although most cats won't eat it on their own, they can be coaxed to eat it by owners and others who think they are giving the cat a treat. The toxic agent in chocolate is theobromine. It's in all kinds of chocolate, even white chocolate. The most dangerous kinds, though, are dark chocolate and unsweetened baking chocolate. Eating chocolate can cause abnormal heart rhythm, tremors, seizures, and death.

As a result, this cocoa butter is the only cocoa ingredient in white chocolate. Because it contains no cocoa solids, white chocolate contains only trace amounts of the stimulants theobromine and caffeine. White chocolate may include additional flavorings, such as vanilla.

Like dogs too (lethal), thanks for the info.

Off Topic, last year, I was going to take my BP prescription tablet but it fell from my hands. My stupid mutt just swallowed it like nothing happened. I went desperately searching Google to see if a visit to the vet was needed. Fortunately and according to Google, no harm was done. It gave him a calming feeling for he laid on the floor for a couple of hours.
